Description
Deciduous tree that grows quickly to 30' x 30' . Leaves are compound and dark green. Leaflets are toothed. Clusters of fragrant lilac flowers appear in the late spring. Round hard green fruit eventually turn yellow or cream. Berries remain on the plant when leaves drop in the fall. Birds enjoy the fruits. Accepts full or reflected sun. Native to Persia across to China.
