Description
Shrub with low mounding habit grows to 2' x 2' . Aromatic, evergreen, small rounded silvery gray leaves on stiff branches. Handles heat in low deserts better than most Salvias. Adapted to wide range of temperatures. In late winter and spring, it is covered with whorls of blue purple flowers in round clusters at branch tips. Prefers full sun, with afternoon shade in the low desert. Needs a well drained soil. Drought tolerant.
