Description
Willow-like appearance with delicate leaf canopy and grayish sculptural trunk. Will reach a mature size of 35' x 40' at a medium to fast rate . Long greenish yellow flowers appear in the late spring and are followed by narrow bright red to tan seed pods. Accepts full sun. Very frost tolerant and grows well where other mesquites are damaged. Ideal for providing filtered shade, windbreaks, or barrier plantings. -Arid Zone Trees
